Toy Box allows users all the fun of the level development and game play without having to purchase and collect the physical toys and characters themselves. The toy itself tracks stats and character upgrades meaning that if a player takes the toy to their friends house, they bring their character advancement along with them. The real game comes with a physical 'portal' and character expansions that allow the player to put a physical toy on the physical portal and then have the character come alive inside the video game. Using Disney's extensive original characters like Ella from Frozen, Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Sully from Monsters Inc (to name a few) players can build anything from platforming games, fighting games to racing games, all within Disney Infinity.
